The scope of work includes surface preparation through cleaning, removal of deteriorated layers, and correction of existing defects such as cracks, rutting, and uneven levels. Necessary base repairs and grading will be carried out to achieve proper alignment, slope, and drainage performance.
A new asphalt wearing course will be applied using high-quality materials designed to withstand desert climate conditions, including extreme temperatures and sand exposure. Compaction and finishing works will ensure a uniform, skid-resistant surface suitable for continuous shuttle operations.
The project also covers edge reinstatement, road markings, and safety enhancements to improve visibility and traffic guidance within the resort.
